Hello everyone, Neil Fanaroff here at Leede Arena in chilly (but not snowy) Hanover, NH where the Penn Quakers will tonight take on the Dartmouth Big Green. The Quakers look to keep the momentum up from Saturday's last-second victory over Brown, while Dartmouth looks to pick up its first Ivy League win of the season. You can follow all the action with me here:

It's difficult to quantify the meaning of this win. With two straight nailbiters over dominant Brown and Dartmouth, Penn is clearly a beast again!
As a matter of fact, with these two electrifying wins, I'm looking for the Quakers to begin attracting top-25 attention immediately; and should Penn somehow manage to take down giants Dartmouth and Brown next month at the Palestra, then Top-20 recognition, and a great seed in the NCAA's, is inevitable.
On a more serious note, Penn fans need to look at the case of Iona for the legitimate basis of hope for a near-term turnaround. There's an excellent piece in today's NY Times sports section documenting Iona's re-ascent in the MAAC after a
2-28 season only three years ago. I can't think of a good reason why Penn shouldn't be able to duplicate Iona's reversal of fortunes. The formula's not that complicated.
Finally, I'd like to give a special shout-out to Grandma, who turned 113 today! Happy birthday grammy! And to my Uncle Schlomo, who was released this week from the Fishkill Penitentiary after a very long stint away from the family. We never believed you were guilty, Uncle! Welcome home, and stay out of trouble!
