Well another game that is decided down the stretch and Penn
fails to execute in the key spots in the Q4 and OT.

Sounds familiar .... Just like 2007

On a much brighter note, I was fortunate to hear the halftime show
of the broadcast. Brian Seltzer was joined by Ed Zubrow, one of
the classiest and honest men ever to work the Penn Sidelines.

Always classy, Coach Zubrow gave a shout out to Coach Lake.

    Very nice touch.

Still have not seen any official statement from AD Bilsky about
Coach Lake. This is disappointing and shows the true character
    of the AD.

Penn B-Ball Twitterer has sent his prayers to Coach Lake while on a tour of the country last seen in On The Road.

    FOJL -

Thanks for the Ed Zubrow observations. I remember fondly meeting him at a casuual function in NYC around the time of my daughter's birth, and was so taken by him that I asked if we could apply early for her to manage the trailing cables for his sideline ear phones. What a loss! I fervently hope there's a future role for his like!

Ernie - Thank you for the contribution.

Ed Z ~ Classy, educator, leader, motivator of men.

He was constantly, and still is, giving back to others.

Speaking of which - Do Zach, Noah, or David(Ben) have any updates
    on Coach Lake?

Coach Lake is a proud man, one of the best I have ever known. I know he has been in touch with the Penn Athletic Communications folks; if he wanted his condition made public, or a statement made on his behalf, I am sure he would have said so. My guess is that he would not want anyone making any fuss over him - it's all about the team, after all.

Setbacks pave the way for comebacks!

    FOJL & Rodney -

On the substance, I'm with GetOverIt's post . I am curious, however. to know if his style and tone reminds you of anyone you know?

Coach Lake has shaped the minds of soul of many fine young men,
as well as countless number of students and alumni.

A true motivator and spirtual leader.

Attention Steven Bilsky - He should be placed in the Penn Athletics HOF.

    Men:

I have noticed a lack of Buzz Updates since the Lafayette game.

Have you been consumed with other endeavors?

I trust all is well. May you have another fruitful week on campus
taking advantage of the cornucopia of items at your feet!
