Going to every Penn home game - and being in the line while I was a student at Penn - are some of my most glorious memories of college. Dunphy's teams were always well-coached, and highly competitive. I, unfortunately, have not had the benefit to see too many of Glen Miller's teams compete (because they have been so terrible). However, my impression is that he came in and installed a new system that does not mesh well with Ivy league talent. You simply cannot run an up-tempo offense as an Ivy league team... because you will be undermanned against any scholarship program. You have to play smarter, more fundamental basketball - and that's what Dunphy's teams always did. I almost never saw a Dunphy team get obliterated. Oh, and as far as the recruiting - this is Miller's 3rd year. They're his recruits now... its up to him to be bringing in top talent, and he simply is not doing it. Fire Miller. All along, Steve Donahue would have been the correct hire.... (former Dunphy assistant). As far as who should be the coach next year? Or in 2 years? Check out Rivals.com top 25 assistant coaches... or, perhaps the Siena head coach, or some other mid-major coach who's been successful.

Sebastian is a clown. The problem right now is on the players not the coach. Miller performed just fine his first year when he had players to coach. Right now, he's dealing with Dunphy's three year recruiting drought at the end of his tenure at Penn. People who are jumping on Miller's back right now are foolish.
