Only one year into the Penn “dating” scene, I can say that I don’t believe that Penn guys and girls hate each other. Even if there is an on-going dispute and …disappointment towards the opposite sex representatives. But, overall, I believe that they DESERVE each other. Most Penn girls complain that the guys here are man whores and scumbags… well, they give them all the reasons to be like that. Penn guys have a huge range of drunken’willing to hook up no string attached available for them. Why would they look for more? At least freshman and sophomore year, this is their life. And the girls… just don’t believe in themselves enough to ask for more. above-average arrogance and, paradoxically, far-below-average self esteem.

maybe that mr. wrong was paired with ms. wrong. this story is one sided, and the author seems to have tunnel vision. this story makes women seem like they are always the innocent ones. quick question, why do the girls always come back if shit like this does happens? maybe because they know in the back of their head…they are the same way.

i wonder if Amber Weekes knows that her name is associated with this article? If i was insensitive enough to demean someone with Down Syndrome, particularly in the context of sex rights, I would attempt to hide behind a thick wall of anonymity. Amber: don’t make this your clip for future resumés and pray that employers don’t find this example of your prose.

While I know this can be true — from personal experience, no less — PLEASE don’t. Such “perfect” relationships often had glaring issues that one or both parties chose to ignore for the sake of “bliss.”

A post like this just encourages the hordes of bitter and lonely women (and men) at this school to continue to hate on and doubt the few people in relationships at Penn.
